Asbed Kotchikian is a senior lecturer at the Global Studies Department at Bentley University. His research focuses on sociopolitical conflict in the Middle East and former Soviet states. He has conducted extensive field research on political regimes and state institutions, civil and ethnic conflict, and social movements in Armenia, Georgia, Iran, Iraq and Syria.
