Benoît Gomis is a researcher and analyst on illicit trade and terrorism. He is a sessional lecturer at the University of Toronto’s Munk School of Global Affairs and Public Policy, where he teaches courses on the illicit trade in drugs, researching terrorism, and a capstone seminar on global security. Benoît is also a research consultant with the University of Bath, where he focuses on the illicit tobacco trade, and the managing editor of “Stability,” a security and development journal. He is also an associate fellow with the International Security Program at Chatham House, and an independent consultant. He previously worked at Simon Fraser University, the NATO Parliamentary Assembly, and the French Ministry of Defense.
