Marlene Willimek is a research fellow at the Diplo Foundation, where her work focuses on digital diplomacy, conflict resolution and nonstate armed actors. She has previously worked for the International Crisis Group and the U.N. Department of Peace Operations, and holds master’s degrees from Sciences Po Paris and the London School of Economics.
