Francisca Aguayo Armijo is the senior program officer for the Conflict Prevention and Peace Forum at the Social Science Research Council. She is a former adviser at the Permanent Mission of Chile to the United Nations and a former research and teaching fellow at Sorbonne Law School, where she earned her doctorate in international law and co-directed the Current Affairs Forum of the Sorbonne Research Institute for International and European Law.
