Jonathan Berkshire Miller is senior visiting fellow with the Japan Institute of International Affairs, based in Tokyo. He is also concurrently a senior fellow on East Asia for the Tokyo-based Asian Forum Japan and the director and co-founder of the Council on International Policy in Ottawa. Previously, he had held fellowships the Council on Foreign Relations, the EastWest Institute and the Pacific Forum CSIS. He regularly attends track 1.5 and track II dialogues across the Asia-Pacific region on security and intelligence issues. He is a regular contributor to several publications on Asia-Pacific security issues, including Foreign Affairs, the Economist Intelligence Unit, Forbes, Newsweek, Jane’s Intelligence Review and Global Asia. Miller has been interviewed and quoted on Japanese security issues across a wide range of media, including The New York Times, CNN, The Japan Times, Reuters, The Asahi Shimbun, Voice of America, Le Monde and ABC News.
