Dr. Joan Johnson-Freese is a professor of national security affairs and former department chair at the Naval War College. She is the author of six books and more than 80 articles on space security, globalization and foreign policy. She is also a member of the Space Studies Board of the National Academies of Science and a member of the Advisory Committee of the Secure World Foundation.
