Kristian McGuire is an independent, Washington-based research analyst. He was an associate editor and nonresident senior fellow at Taiwan Security Research from 2014-2022. His work has appeared in Global Taiwan Brief, China Brief, South China Morning Post and The Diplomat, among other publications.
