Lina Khatib is director of the SOAS Middle East Institute at SOAS University of London. She is also the MBI Al Jaber Chair in Middle East Studies and Professor of Practice in the Department of Politics and International Studies at SOAS. Her work on the Middle East spans geopolitics, conflict, political transitions, and foreign policy towards the region.
