Marcelo Ballvé

Marcelo Ballvé, a journalist specialized in Latin America, was born in Buenos Aires and raised there and in Atlanta, Mexico City and Caracas. He now lives in New York. He has contributed his writing and reporting to The New York Times, The Los Angeles Times, The Washington Post, The San Francisco Chronicle, Mother Jones magazine, NPR, the PBS NewsHour With Jim Lehrer, and many other media outlets. He's a former AP reporter in the news agency's Brazil and Caribbean bureaus.
