Maria Savel is an associate editor for World Politics Review. Prior to joining WPR, she worked for an institutional communications firm in Brussels producing content for various directorate-generals of the European Union. She studied French and EU politics at the University of Pittsburgh and Sciences Po, Paris and received her master's degree in EU international relations from the College of Europe in Bruges, Belgium.
