Natalie Rouland is the Billington Fellow at the Wilson Center in Washington and the Fellow for the Study of Russia and Ballet at New York University’s Center for Ballet and the Arts and the Jordan Center for the Advanced Study of Russia. She is currently completing a book on the intersection of Russian politics and art. She holds a doctorate in Slavic Languages and Literatures from Stanford University.
