Pavel Slunkin is a visiting fellow at the European Council on Foreign Relations, where he works on issues related to Belarus’ domestic and foreign policy, relations with Russia, the European Union and the United States. Previously he worked for the Foreign Ministry of Belarus from 2014 to 2020, when he resigned in protest over the rigged elections and violence against the Belarusian people.
