Raza Khan is a Pakistani journalist and researcher currently working on his doctoral thesis, "Extremism-Terrorism in Pakistan: Causes and Counter-Strategy." Raza received his masters degrees in Political Science, Journalism/Mass Communication and International Relations as well as a bachelors degree in Law and Economics. Raza is ethnically a Pakhtoon and has covered the troubled regions of Pakistan, including FATA and NWFP, extensively. He has also served in several senior official positions in various Pakistani government ministries and departments including the country's largest military-industrial complex, POF. As a journalist he has contributed to national and international publications including The News and The Washington Times.
