Richard Youngs
Richard Youngs is a senior associate at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace. He works on EU foreign policy and on issues of international democracy.He is also a professor of international relations at the University of Warwick. Previously he has held positions in the U.K. Foreign and Commonwealth Office and as an EU Marie Curie fellow. Youngs is the author of 12 books, including “Civic Activism Unleashed” (2019), “Europe Reset: New Directions for the EU” (2017), “Europe’s Eastern Crisis: The Geopolitics of Asymmetry” (2017) and “The Puzzle of Non-Western Democracy” (2015).
