Thijs Van de Graaf is an assistant professor of international politics at the Ghent Institute for International Studies at Ghent University. His research covers energy security, international politics and global governance. Van de Graaf has edited or authored numerous books and scholarly journal articles. Previously, he was a visiting scholar at the Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs at Princeton University. He has been a member of the editorial boards of Energy Research & Social Science (Elsevier), International Environmental Agreements: Politics, Law and Economics (Springer), and Palgrave Communications (Palgrave).
