Chile: President Gabriel Boric formally took reception of a new draft constitution yesterday from the Constituent Assembly charged with writing it and called for a national referendum next month to decide if it will replace the country’s current Pinochet-era charter. The draft will be the second put to a vote in two years, after Chileans resoundingly rejected a proposed constitution last year. (AP)
