U.S. strikes in Yemen: The United States and five of its allies carried out strikes against more than a dozen targets controlled by the Houthi rebel movement in Yemen. The strikes come after months of Houthi attacks on merchant shipping in the Red Sea, which the Iran-backed militia says it has carried out in protest of Israel’s military campaign in Gaza.
